The Museum is set to host a special winter event on December 21, featuring the arrival of Sasquatch via helicopter at 10:30 a.m. The event will run until 3 p.m., with opportunities for visitors to spot Sasquatch throughout the museum galleries.

The "Solstice with Sasquatch" events are accessible with museum membership or general admission, while the helicopter landing itself is free for all attendees.

A variety of activities are scheduled for the day. Planetarium shows will be held from 12:30 to 1 p.m. and again from 1:30 to 2 p.m. Holiday crafts will be available from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., where participants can design ornaments, make friendship bracelets, and learn knitting at winter-themed craft tables.

Live holiday music performances include the Boeing Employee Concert Band playing from 11 a.m. to noon and the Orchestra of Flight performing from 2 to 3 p.m.

Additionally, in honor of the Wright Brothers' first powered flight on December 17, visitors can meet a museum volunteer dressed as Katherine Wright, sister of Wilber and Orville Wright.

This winter event promises an engaging experience filled with festive activities suitable for all ages.
