DJ Gene Farris, known as a global ambassador of Chicago house music sound, will be part of the event. Farris has been influential in shaping the house and techno culture with his unique sound inspired by Lil’ Louis. His career began in the early '90s when he played at legendary underground warehouse parties in Chicago, leading to performances in over 42 countries worldwide. As an accomplished engineer and producer since 1994, Gene Farris has released seven albums and over 200 tracks throughout his career.
Yuri’s Night events are celebrated globally every April to honor Yuri Gagarin's historic journey as the first human in space on April 12, 1961, along with commemorating the first Space Shuttle launch on April 12, 1981. The Museum's space party has grown into North America's largest Yuri's Night event and is often regarded as one of Seattle’s premier parties.
