Rep. Adam Smith, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing Washington’s 9th district since 1997, recently took to social media to discuss a variety of topics pertinent to his constituents and the nation. In a series of tweets, he addressed concerns about budget planning, immigration policies, and advocacy for individuals with Down syndrome.

On March 21, 2025, Rep. Smith tweeted about the upcoming congressional budget planning with President Trump.
