Sixteen students from Hazen, Lindbergh, and Renton high schools participated in the 2022 HOSA International Leadership Conference in Nashville. Our students joined over 10,000
participants from 49 states, three US territories, and four other nations including Canada, China, and Korea. HOSA is our high school program for students interested in pursuing
careers in the healthcare industry.
In addition to competitions, the conference included three days of educational sessions from leading researchers, industry experts, government agencies, university healthcare
programs, and healthcare employers.
Congratulations to these students who earned recognition at the event:
• Hazen’s Michelle Fung recognized as a Top 10 finisher in Biochemistry and 3rd place in Medical Law & Ethics.
• Hazen’s Dominik “Niki” Datangle was recognized as a Top 10 finisher in Allied Health Statistics.
• Lindbergh’s Heather Duong was recognized as a Top 10 finisher in Occupational Health & Safety.
• Hazen’s Michelle Truong qualified for Round 2 in the Health Professions Competitive Event Home Care Aide.
• Renton High School HOSA was recognized for work of Charisse Marshall & Angela Vu for their work Renton High's HOSA website.
