Seasonal Maintenance Workers Needed – Full Time

Hourly Rate 

$16.40-$18.30/hourly

Job Summary

Assisting maintenance staff in the inspection of storm manholes and catch basins.  Clean and repair catch basins, culverts, and storm drain lines.  Assist maintenance staff in routine ground/facility maintenance. Mowing, weed-eating, trimming, cleaning flower beds, litter control, cleaning restrooms, and minor facility repair. Assist maintenance staff with asphalt patching, sidewalks repair, street sign maintenance, vegetation control, roadside mowing, and pavement striping.

Hours, Duration and Working Conditions

Hours & Duration: Full-time positions with working shifts that may vary and may include evenings and weekends. Duration of employment does not exceed 5 months. 

Working Conditions: Work is primarily performed outdoors in all types of weather. 

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent, 18 years of age by date of hire, valid Washington State Drivers’ license with an acceptable driving record that meets city standards, and experience with general maintenance or other related work.
