HIGHLINE SCHOOL DISTRICT: October is Cybersecurity Awareness Month

Highline School District issued the following announcement.

What can you do?

  1. Be informed about the tech levy and how it would fund a critical upgrade to district cybersecurity, if approved in November.

     

  2. You can help us keep our student, staff and district information systems safe from increasing and sophisticated attacks. Take a walk through the links below to learn the latest advice for staying safe online--especially now.
KNOW YOUR TECH LEVY FACTS: CYBERSECURITY FUNDING

Other districts in our state and nation have fallen victim to phishing and hacking. Prop. 1, the technology levy on November election ballots in Highline, includes funding for a major upgrade to our district cybersecurity.

CYBERSECURITY TIPS & RESOURCES FOR STAFF & FAMILIES

Since we are all online this year, mostly from home, please read these tips on how to stay safe online and how to keep your personal information and our district systems safe from attack. Do your part. #BeCyberSmartabout Final Design Display Board:
