City of Issaquah issued the following announcement on May 13.
Crews will be replacing the existing timber railing with an aluminum railing on the pedestrian bridge near Northwest Gilman Boulevard (see map) that crosses Issaquah Creek near Sena Park.
Work will start on May 14, with a full closure of the pedestrian bridge occurring May 18-22. Sidewalk detour signs will be posted on both sides of the bridge, and pedestrians can use the existing sidewalk on the north side of Gilman Boulevard during the closure.
