City of Federal Way issued the following announcement on April 2
After consultation with the Outbreak Advisory Team, and In order to adhere to the social distancing guidelines and the “Stay Home, Stay Healthy” order put in place by Gov. Jay Inslee to slow the spread of COVID-19, we've made the decision that the Community Center, Dumas Bay Centre and the Performing Arts and Event Center will remained closed through April 27.
Shows and gatherings at the PAEC through the end of April are canceled or are in the midst of being rescheduled. The box office is currently closed to all in-person transactions and will remain closed until further notice.
City of Federal Way Parks remain open during this time. However, Parks officials are asking visitors to respect social distancing while using the grounds. Picnic shelters, playgrounds, athletic fields and sports courts at all City parks are closed during this time. We will get through this together! Hang in there!
