If you visit the Nelson Nature Park this month you will probably notice ribbons have been attached to various trees. These ribbons are part of a current Eagle Scout project, wherein
bird nesting boxes are being placed on trees throughout the park. These boxes will serve as the future homes for expecting, Bewicks Wrens, House Finches, American Kestrels,
and Ash - Throated Flycatchers (pictured), in an effort to boost bird population of all species, and therefore the prosperity of the ecosystem in the area.
