Median home prices in Covington rose to $657,500 in the first half of 2022

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2022 in Covington rose by $144,000 while total sales increased by 12.3 percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June, there were 128 homes sold, with a median sale price of $657,500 - a 28 percent increase over the $513,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 114 homes sold in Covington in the first half of 2021.

The median sales tax in Covington for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $3,599, approximately 0.5 percent of the median home sale price for the first half of 2022.
