Q2: Home prices in Black Diamond increased

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2022 in Black Diamond rose by $95,000 while total sales remained unchanged with 13 homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June, there were 13 homes sold, with a median sale price of $725,000 - a 15.1 percent increase over the $630,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 13 homes sold in Black Diamond in the second quarter of 2021, as well.

The median sales tax in Black Diamond for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $3,492, approximately 0.5 percent of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2022.
