Q2: Newcastle (unincorporated) experienced a 61.8% drop in median home prices

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2022 in Newcastle (unincorporated) fell by $1,245,000 while total sales increased by 25 percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June, there were five homes sold, with a median sale price of $769,000 - a 61.8 percent decrease from the $2,014,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were four homes sold in Newcastle (unincorporated) in the second quarter of 2021.

The median sales tax in Newcastle (unincorporated) for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $5,151, approximately 0.7 percent of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2022.
