Home prices increased in Federal Way during April

The median sale price of a home sold in April in Federal Way rose by $45,000 while total sales increased by 30.9 percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

In April, there were 72 homes sold, with a median sale price of $610,000 - an 8 percent increase over the $565,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 55 homes sold in Federal Way in April 2021.

The median sales tax in Federal Way for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $3,694, approximately 0.6 percent of the median home sale price for April.
