Kent home prices rise in the second half of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2017 in Kent rose by $40,275 while total sales decreased by 56.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2017, there were 181 homes sold, with a median sale price of $375,000 - a 12% increase over the $334,725 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 418 homes sold in Kent in the second half of 2016.

The median sales tax in Kent for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $3,686, approximately 1% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2017.
