Auburn home prices rise in the first quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2018 in Auburn rose by $46,025 while total sales decreased by 52.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2018, there were 72 homes sold, with a median sale price of $354,525 - a 14.9% increase over the $308,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 152 homes sold in Auburn in the first quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Auburn for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $3,743, approximately 1.1% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2018.
