Auburn home prices rise in the third quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2018 in Auburn rose by $37,500 while total sales increased by 26.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2018, there were 110 homes sold, with a median sale price of $387,500 - a 10.7% increase over the $350,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 87 homes sold in Auburn in the third quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Auburn for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $3,743, approximately 1% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2018.
