Renton home prices rise in August 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in August 2017 in Renton rose by $5,000 while total sales decreased by 71.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In August 2017, there were 23 homes sold, with a median sale price of $425,000 - a 1.2% increase over the $420,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 81 homes sold in Renton in August 2016.

The median sales tax in Renton for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $4,150, approximately 1% of the median home sale price for August 2017.
