Burien home prices rise in September 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in September 2017 in Burien rose by $137,000 while total sales decreased by 36.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In September 2017, there were 21 homes sold, with a median sale price of $472,000 - a 40.9% increase over the $335,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 33 homes sold in Burien in September 2016.

The median sales tax in Burien for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $3,875, approximately 0.8% of the median home sale price for September 2017.
