Federal Way home prices rise in September 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in September 2017 in Federal Way rose by $46,451 while total sales decreased by 59.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In September 2017, there were 48 homes sold, with a median sale price of $361,450 - a 14.7% increase over the $315,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 118 homes sold in Federal Way in September 2016.

The median sales tax in Federal Way for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $3,694, approximately 1% of the median home sale price for September 2017.
