Covington home prices fall in October 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in October 2017 in Covington fell by $26,001 while total sales decreased by 87.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In October 2017, there were five homes sold, with a median sale price of $299,999 - a 8% decrease over the $326,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 39 homes sold in Covington in October 2016.

The median sales tax in Covington for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $3,599, approximately 1.2% of the median home sale price for October 2017.
