Algona home prices rise in September 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in September 2018 in Algona rose by $48,499 while total sales remained unchanged with three homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

In September 2018, there were three homes sold, with a median sale price of $299,999 - a 19.3% increase over the $251,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were three homes sold in Algona in September 2017, as well.

The median sales tax in Algona for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $2,716, approximately 0.9% of the median home sale price for September 2018.
