 The City of SeaTac currently has several openings on multiple Citizen  Advisory Committees, which are a great way for residents to get  involved and provide input on the future of the City.

The City of SeaTac invites all residents and business owners /  operators / employees of diverse backgrounds to apply to participate in  your City. To learn more about our committees, please visit our website. 

The following Citizen Advisory Committee has a vacancy, with applications due Friday, June 24, 2022 by 5 p.m.:

·      Arts, Culture & Library Advisory Committee (1 position)

The following Citizen Advisory Committees has a vacancy, with applications due Friday, July 8, 2022 by 5 p.m.:

·      Arts, Culture & Library Advisory Committee (2 positions – 1  position which may be filled by a youth applicant and 1 youth alternate  position). Youth applicant – term expiring Nov. 30, 2023. Other  applicant – term expiring Nov. 30, 2025.

The following Citizen Advisory Committees have vacancies, with applications accepted until filled with review every two weeks:

·      Senior Citizen Advisory Committee (1 position – age 55 or older) with a term expiring Nov. 30, 2025.

·      Sidewalk Advisory Committee (1 full member position which may  be filled by a youth applicant and 1 youth alternate position) Youth  applicant – term expiring Nov. 30, 2023.

Other applicant – term expiring  Nov. 30, 2025.

 Submit original (no copies) applications and background check form  addressed to the City Clerk by mail or in person: 4800 South 188th  Street, SeaTac, WA 98188.

 If no applications are received, these positions will remain open until filled, with review every two weeks.

 In addition, the City is always accepting applications for all  citizen advisory committees. Applications will be held for one year from  the date of submittal and will be considered if a vacancy opens during  that period.

 All positions are appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the Council.
