Firefighters respond to two fires in SeaTac including trailer filled with food donations

In the last 24 hours, Puget Sound Fire has responded to two fires in SeaTac.

Last night, firefighters put out a house fire in the 14000 block of 24th Avenue South. Firefighters extinguished the fire in approximately 30 minutes. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire appears to be electrical in nature and the American Red Cross is assisting two adults with their emergency needs.

Firefighters responded to a semi-trailer on fire this morning in the 20800 block of Interurban Avenue. Firefighters extinguished the fire in approximately 10 minutes. The trailer was filled with food supplies to feed the hungry. No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is accidental, started in pallets that were underneath the trailer. No injuries were reported
