SeaTac fall events finish with annual tree lighting

SeaTac’s annual tree lighting on Dec. 2 marked the end of fall special events.

Mayor Jake Simpson and Councilmembers Peter Kwon and Iris Guzmán attended the last fall event of the season. A grant ensured that this event was not only free but also included free food.

This fall, SeaTac Parks and Recreation brought back The Great Pumpkin Night in October, the Holiday Bazaar and the Veterans Day ceremony in November. This season a new Community Resource Fair was hosted at the Community Center in early November, providing people with the opportunity to talk to nonprofits who could help with legal assistance, healthcare, jobs and more.
