SeaTac firework show returns to Angle Lake Park this year

Newsrelease

SeaTac firework show returns to Angle Lake Park this year

Fireworks return to Angle Lake this year on July 4 around 10 p.m.

The Fourth of July Fireworks show was cancelled for two years  starting in 2020 because of the COVID-19 pandemic. As a reminder, the  sale and use of personal fireworks is banned in SeaTac for safety and fire concerns.

Parking is limited for the Fourth of July fireworks show with the  main lot closed all day. The only parking available will be at the  Alaska Airlines Headquarters and IBEW Union Office. People are  encouraged to bring their own food and beverages to Angle lake Park, but  alcohol is not allowed. An ice cream truck will be at Angle Lake for  the holiday in the main parking lot.

The swimming area will be open on the Fourth of July this year but  there will be no lifeguards on duty. The water spray park is also open  and is a safe alternative to cool off.

The public boat launch at Angle Lake Park will be closed all day on July 4.  There will be no boat launch or parking lot access.
