Federal Way Public School issued the following announcement on Feb. 17.
Scholars at Thomas Jefferson High School - FWPS's INCubator Entrepeneurship course are learning through hands-on experiences about business and marketing; from solving a problem, developing a solution, and turning it into an actual business.
“The class is really unique, because it’s focused on helping our scholars develop a business hands-on,” shared teacher Chase Fetters.
“The whole year we are practicing, learning marketing, developing our customer segments, developing a minimum viable product like a prototype, and figuring out our finances to finally pitch it to community members, get feedback and develop into an actual business."
Our scholars are learning skills that can help them in the future, whether they decide to work for an existing business or run their own.
