Renton home prices fall in the third quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2019 in Renton fell by $25,000 while total sales decreased by 28.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2019, there were 71 homes sold, with a median sale price of $465,000 - a 5.1% decrease over the $490,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 99 homes sold in Renton in the third quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Renton for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $4,150, approximately 0.9% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2019.
