City of Covington issued the following announcement on June 25.
The Covington City Council is currently seeking interest from residents who would like to be considered to fill City Council Position #6.
Letters of interest must be received by the City of Covington before 5 p.m. on Monday, July 20, 2020. City Council will review letters at the July 28 City Council meeting and may schedule in-person interviews with qualified candidates for August 11.
Candidates must include their full name as listed on their voter registration and their physical address in the letter. Letters of interest and any questions should be submitted by email to Deputy City Clerk Krista Bates at kbates@covingtonwa.gov.
