The Public Works Supervisor works directly under the direction of the  Public Works Director. The person holding this position serves as the  PW/Utility crew foreman, works with the Director of Public Works on any  projects or issues as needed, schedules routine activities and projects  for the crew and ensures that directives of the PW director and Mayor  are carried out.

The Public Works Supervisor is also a member of the PW utility crew  and performs a variety of routine duties including road repair, water  and sewer systems maintenance, and general labor as needed.  The Public  Works Supervisor performs a variety of specific and non-specific duties  and responsibilities intended to maintain the City’s facilities for the  benefit of the City and its citizens.  This position requires  substantial maintenance and repair work, as well as operation of heavy  equipment.
