Openings on Senior Citizen Advisory Committee will provide opportunity to bring forth ideas for senior programming

The Senior Citizen Advisory Committee is vital in helping to inform  the City about issues related to the seniors in the community.

This advisory committee advises City Council and provides input  through the City Manager about problems seniors are facing in the City.  They help provide increased opportunities for community involvement and  help brainstorm ideas for senior programming.

Our senior program is run through our Parks and Recreation division  and is a large group. Programs include senior lunches, social activities  like trips and games, as well as educational resources to help local  seniors.

The city currently has openings on this committee, which meets every third Tuesday at 9 a.m. at the SeaTac Community Center.
