We’re kicking off our 2022 volunteer conservation events with an Earth Day celebration! Mark your calendars for Saturday, April 23.
Join us, your friends, and neighbors as we participate in the world’s largest environmental conservation event. This is a great opportunity to show love to our little corner of this big, beautiful planet.
At this year’s Earth Day volunteer event, we’ll be removing invasive blackberry and holly from the forest understory at Clark Lake Park to help protect our native plants and trees!
The City will provide hand tools to use. Volunteers should wear sturdy shoes and clothes they don’t mind getting torn or dirty, and be prepared for inclement weather.
Event will occur rain or shine. Registration and a completed volunteer waiver form are required for all participants.
Volunteers under the age of 18 must have a completed form filled out by their parent/guardian.
